Nona Cross - Oklahoma Artist

Picturesque sailboats on the open water, houses on the canal in Brugge,
Belgium or a simple flower in bloom; these and other wonderful topics bring
out the creative passions of Oklahoma Artist, Nona Cross.  Whether it is in
Oklahoma, Hawaii, Alaska, Massachusetts, Canada or in her own back yard,
she always finds something wonderful to paint.

Most of Nona's paintings are landscapes; however she also enjoys painting
florals and seascapes.  Nona's media of choice is oil on canvas.  Many of her
paintings are done with a knife, using a technique or her own creation.  No
matter what mood Nona is in when she starts to paint it always turns to joy in
a matter of minutes.  Her love of God and His beautiful world are portrayed in
her paintings.

Nona resides in Bartlesville, Oklahoma and is active in the local art
community as a member of the Bartlesville Art Association, where she is
currently serving on its Board of Directors.  She has been an Oklahoman
most of her life, living in the Kiamichi and Mountain Fork areas of southeast
Oklahoma as a youth and in Bartlesville's Green Country area as an adult.
For God so loved the world that He gave His only Begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not
perish but have ever lasting life. - John 3:16
